Charlton Athletic are delighted to announce that Mia Ross has penned a one-year contract extension, keeping her in SE7 for the 2022/23 campaign.
The former Liverpool player signed for the Addicks in the summer of 2021, following her departure from Merseyside.
The 19-year-old played a significant role for Charlton in the 2021/22 campaign, making 23 appearances and scoring four goals.
Due to her success at club level, Ross was called up to the young Lionesses' squad and she netted for England's U19s in a European Qualifier against Wales in April.
Ross shared how excited she was to get going again for the upcoming campaign: “I’m buzzing to extend my contract with Charlton, it’s exciting to be a part of a positive project that continues to grow in the right direction.
"My personal focus is continuing to develop in the best environment for me and absorb the opportunities in my stride, I felt Charlton was the right place for that. I can’t wait to get back on the grass with the girls for a big season.”
Addicks Head Coach Karen Hills was delighted with the news. She said: “Mia is a young talented player who rose to the challenge of the Championship last season, and I believe she will continue to develop even more this season. I am delighted that Mia will be with us for this upcoming campaign.”
