Academy graduate Nathan Asiimwe has joined Sky Bet League Two leaders Walsall on loan until the end of the season.
The defender, who has made three appearances for the Addicks this term, featured five times for National League side Hartlepool United during a short-term loan earlier in 2024/25.
Asiimwe now joins a Saddlers side that have won their last seven league games and sit 10 points clear at the top of the Sky Bet League Two table.
Technical Director Andy Scott said: "Nathan is coming off his first loan at Hartlepool United earlier this season, where he really impressed and gained some valuable match minutes. Going on loan to Walsall, who are doing really well in League Two, is a positive move as part of his development.
"He'll benefit from joining a team that are flying and that play good, attacking football with an excellent Head Coach who has been keen to take him for some time. We’ll be monitoring his progress closely and look forward to welcoming him back in the summer after a successful loan, hopefully culminating in a promotion."
Everyone at the club would like to wish Nathan the best of luck during his loan spell.
