Known for his technically gifted goals, the Charlton midfielder is often remembered for his spectacular displays vs Bradford City in 1997 and away at Norwich City in his first spell in 1988.
He is still involved with the club, working with Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT)’s Equality & Diversity Work as an ambassador for ‘Kick it Out’.
On this Saturday's Upbeats Day, he will be joining other Charlton legends Derek Hales, Mike Flanagan, Simon Webster, Bob Bolder and Carl Leaburn to lead the walk to raise funds and awareness for CACT’s Down’s Syndrome project.
The amount raised so sits over £10,000, on the way to matching the £37,000 raised last year.
