Charlton Athletic can confirm that Poppy Soper has joined FA National Women's South side Ipswich Town on a season-long loan.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper, who joined the club in the summer of 2022, enjoyed two seasons on a dual registration with Plymouth Argyle before signing for the Addicks.
Head Coach Karen Hills said: "This move for Poppy has come at the right time. She has been working really hard in training and now needs opportunities to put all her hard work of training pitch into games which is what’s missing for Poppy at this time. I believe she will be a huge asset to Ipswich this season and will help Poppy continue to become a fantastic goalkeeper. We will be continuing to support Poppy throughout her loan move."
Soper can be recalled to the Charlton squad throughout any period of her loan spell.
Everyone at the club would like to wish Poppy the best of luck for the rest of the season.
The move is subject to FA approval.
