The club were delighted to unveil the renovation of the Keith Peacock Suite ahead of the Addicks’ triumph over Fleetwood.
The suite is dedicated towards the Charlton legend and club ambassador’s incredible achievements and constant support throughout the years in SE7.
Peacock's suite was refurbished with the assistance of Charlton’s new 2023/24 partner Wearebrandnew, run by Charlton fan and long-term sponsor Darren New, in conjunction with Digital Fusion.
Commemorative memorabilia can be found within the hospitality suite - including historic shirts that Peacock wore during his time at the club as a player, together with iconic images from across his career.
Commercial Manager Steve Sutherland said: "Growing up watching Charlton with my late father from our regular position on the massive East terrace at The Valley, I had a number of early heroes - Eddie Firmani, Len Glover, Brian Tocknell, Alan Campbell - but one player always stood out for me: Keith Peacock.
"Keith was a brilliant player who always gave his all. Then, later, he became the midfield general behind the success of the legendary Charlton forward line of Powell, Hales and Flanagan. They say ‘never meet your heroes’ and I never take for granted the fact that the player I idolised from The Valley terraces has, over the years, become a valued colleague and a great friend.
"To have the opportunity to liaise on the renovation of the Keith Peacock Suite was a privilege. The word legend is used far too liberally these days, but, without doubt, it is the perfect word to describe the man who is quite simply Mr Charlton."
The Addicks are back at The Valley on Saturday, September 23rd when Michael Appleton's side host Wycombe Wanderers. Click here to purchase your tickets.
