Karen Hills' Addicks scored three unanswered goals to secure an impressive pre-season victory over Women's National League South Side Oxford United.
It was the home team who had the first attempted shot on goal but the U's effort went wide of the mark.
Charlton then took the lead inside ten minutes, when winger Angela Addison showed her pace on the wing cutting inside and finishing in the bottom right-hand corner.
The rain continued to pound down in Oxfordshire on Sunday afternoon but the adverse weather conditions did not deter the Addicks, as summer signing Kate Longhurst doubled Charlton's advantage just shy of the thirty-minute mark.
Oxford certainly gave the Addicks a physical battle as one U's defender was forced to make a big challenge to deny the Addicks a third.
The U's goalkeeper made a very impressive stop late in the second half tipping new signing Freya Godfrey's effort onto the crossbar and over.
Charlton rounded off the scoring in the 82nd minute when Addison secured her brace netting in impressive fashion once again.
Charlton's next pre-season test will be on August, 6th against MK Dons Women.
