Ryan Huke and Seydil Toure sign new deals

U21s duo Ryan Huke and Seydil Toure have both signed one-year contract extensions, with a club option of a further year.

Both players were important members of the U21s squad that lifted the London Senior Cup for the second year running last term.

Huke joined the club at U13 level and signed his first professional deal at the age of 17 in February 2022. The attacking midfielder played a key role in the U18s' Professional Development League Two - South title win in 2022/23, before moving up to the U21s last season.

Toure has been at the club even longer, having joined as an U9. The defender won the very first Pierre Bolangi Award - given to an U18s player who has demonstrated Pierre's characteristics of resilience, leadership, optimism and compassion - in May 2022 and penned a professional contract two months later. He scored his first senior goal during a brief loan spell with National League side Oxford City at the start of 2024.

Charlton fans can support the academy by signing up to the Valley Gold scheme. Valley Gold enables fans to support the club’s academy in unearthing the talents of tomorrow, as well as giving them the chance to win cash prizes.
