Academy graduate Henry Rylah has been presented with his framed league debut shirt, funded by Valley Gold.
The pacey winger, who joined the Addicks’ esteemed academy ranks at U12 level, made his first league start against Cambridge United at The Valley in December 2023.
Technical Director Andy Scott, Academy Director Steve Avory and Valley Gold Chair Matt Baker delivered the presentation at Sparrows Lane.
“It’s a proud moment for everybody associated with Henry’s development over so many years, as he’s been with us since the foundation phase," explained Avory.
“He's a very grounded young man with huge potential. He knows there is a long way to go but he's regularly playing for our U21s and that's where he does his regular training. He's a lovely lad to work with and we're all very pleased for him.
“Valley Gold are now sponsoring the shirt presentations, once again underlying the importance of their investment and what the supporters are doing for our young players."
Rylah signed his first professional deal with Charlton back in May 2023, committing his future to the club until 2026.
Baker added: “We're all really pleased as Henry's another academy product that Valley Gold has sponsored. Coming through and making his first team league debut is really good to see and hopefully there's a lot more to come from him.
“I think it really makes the fans feel that they're invested in something that's making a difference. They put their £10 in every month and everybody wants to see one of their own coming through. When you see someone like Henry come out onto the pitch - and there have been others as well - we keep this succession of products coming through.
