Several former Addicks join Ex-Players' Association

Several former Addicks have joined the club's newly-formed Ex-Players' Association.

Headed up by club legends Steve Brown and Kevin Lisbie, the Association has been formed to reunite players who have previously represented the club during many eras, providing them with a reliable support network to help with any potential issues following the end of their footballing careers.

Brown and Lisbie will also coordinate various events - including social affairs and matches - to raise funds for the award-winning Charlton Athletic Community Trust.

The new additions are as follows:

  • Marcus Bent
  • Rob Elliot
  • Mark Fish
  • Jon Fortune
  • Peter Garland
  • Dean Kiely
  • Paul Konchesky
  • Paul Mortimer
  • Chris Powell
  • Colin Powell
  • Chris Solly
  • Lawrie Wilson

Shaun Bartlett, Andy Hunt, Garry Nelson and Mathias Svensson signed up to the Association upon its launch a fortnight ago.

In celebration of the new-look Association, the group have been invited down to The Valley on Sunday, October 6th for their first social event, as the women’s first-team host Sunderland.
