Fresh off the back of England U23 Lionesses duty, Addicks centre-back Skeels previewed Sunday's matchup against south London rivals Crystal Palace.
Skeels on recent international duty with the England U23 squad:
"It is always an honour to be called up for England it is an unbelievable experience to be training around some of the best young players in the WSL and Championship."
"It is always nice to have people you know and who you are familiar with (Angela Addison and Mia Ross) you know what they are going to be like around camp."
Thoughts and excitement ahead of Sunday's south London derby against Crystal Palace:
"I am really looking forward to the game, it is always a great occasion, obviously there is a rivalry between Charlton and Crystal Palace, but ultimately it is just another game, we have prepared as we always prepare for every game and we just want to get the three points"
"I have experienced the south London derby, I know what it is about, last year was my first time experiencing it, so I have that under my belt, but I think I can help the girls, in and around it and obviously the girls have a lot of experience with derby's and big games as well, so I think they will be really up for it."
The excitement around playing at Selhurst Park:
"It will be massive to have our fans at the game you can really hear them on the pitch it really spurs us on to try to get the win. So, yeah it would be great to see as many people there as possible."
Looking to keep the winning momentum off the back of Charlton's 2-1 away win against Durham:
" The win we got at Durham was really important I think for us as a group, obviously we have been working hard to get those three points, so we are looking to kick on and hopefully add to that."
