Take part in National Walking Month 2019

Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) is taking part in Walking Month, a national campaign created by Living Streets. CACT delivers Greenwich Get Walking, commissioned by the Royal Borough of Greenwich, which connects residents with a wide range of free walking opportunities throughout the Borough.

Why walk?

Greenwich Get Walking walks are fun, free and friendly and a perfect way to help you to become more active and meet new people. Walking is sometimes overlooked as a form of exercise, but walking at a brisk pace can help to build stamina, burn excess calories and improve your heart health.

This May is National Walking Month, and CACT is encouraging residents to take part in a Greenwich Get Walking led walk. The walks are a great way to explore new parts of the Borough whilst meeting new people.
