Michael Appleton has confirmed January additions Macaulay Gillesphey and Rarmani Edmonds-Green are available to start Charlton's clash against Northampton Town at The Valley on Tuesday night.
The defensive duo joined the Addicks from Championship clubs Plymouth Argyle and Huddersfield Town respectively.
Asked if they are in a position to make their full debuts on Tuesday, Appleton said: “Yes, they’re both fit and available. Macca obviously got his little spell [from the bench] on Saturday.
“We’ve got a reasonably fit and healthy squad ready to go. They’ve all made themselves available. There’s no one really from the group on Saturday that has come out of it with any major issues.
“Conor McGrandles and Terry Taylor have had extra days training so they’re getting a little bit closer to getting game time,” he added. “Panutche [Camara]’s not a million miles away - possibly the back end of next week.”
Northampton travel to The Valley as one of the division’s form sides having suffered just one defeat in their last seven league games.
“We can expect a tough challenge,” explained the Head Coach. “Obviously they’ve done great this year and Jon [Brady] has done a fantastic job for them.
“They flip formations sometimes - late in games - so they may start with a three and go to a four or vice versa; they’ve done that quite well at times. They’re very well-organised, they’re hard to beat and they’re decent on the transition - that’s when they’ve won a lot of their games.
“We’re certainly going to have to be diligent in what we do, but we’ve got enough in our armoury to take the three points I believe.”
