Sean Clare will return to the Charlton starting line-up for this evening’s game against MK Dons at The Valley.
The 26-year-old takes the place of Steven Sessegnon, who moves to the substitutes bench after completing his first 90 minutes since returning from injury in Saturday’s 1-0 win at Shrewsbury Town.
Tyreece Campbell keeps his place in the starting XI after his impressive debut at the weekend.
The one change means if the Addicks line-up in the 4-4-2 formation, deployed successfully in recent weeks, then Clare will join Mandela Egbo, Ryan Inniss and Eoghan O’Connell in a back four in front of Joe Wollacott.
George Dobson and Scott Fraser are expected to continue as a midfield two with Saturday's goalscorer Jes Rak-Sakyi and Tyreece Campbell either side of them.
Charlie Kirk is likely to continue alongside Jayden Stockley in a front two.
Sessegnon is joined on the substitutes bench by Craig MacGillivray, Terell Thomas, Albie Morgan, Conor McGrandles, Jack Payne and Chuks Aneke.
