Nathan Jones has made five changes for tonight’s Carabao Cup first-round tie against Birmingham City at The Valley (KO 7.45pm BST).
Summer recruit Luke Berry is set to make his full Charlton debut, with Rarmani Edmonds-Green, Tennai Watson, Thierry Small and Daniel Kanu also coming into the starting XI.
The quintet come in for Alex Mitchell, Kayne Ramsay, Greg Docherty, Josh Edwards and Gassan Ahadme, who are all named on the Addicks’ substitutes bench.

Should the Addicks continue in the same 3-5-2 formation used during Saturday’s opening-day victory at Wigan Athletic, Rarmani Edmonds-Green will join captain Lloyd Jones and Macaulay Gillesphey in defence, ahead of goalkeeper Will Mannion.
Watson and Small are expected to operate as wing-backs, with Berry accompanying Conor Coventry and Karoy Anderson in Jones’ three-man midfield.
Academy graduates Daniel Kanu and Tyreece Campbell will lead the line.
Alex Mitchell, Ramsay, Docherty, Edwards and Ahadme are joined on the bench by Ashley Maynard-Brewer, Zach Mitchell, Tayo Edun and Chuks Aneke.
