Nathan Jones has made one change to his starting XI for this afternoon's clash against Rotherham United at The Valley.

Matty Godden replaces Tyreece Campbell up front, while new signing Dan Potts makes his first appearance in the squad as he is named on the bench alongside Tennai Watson, who returns following illness.

Nathan Jones’ side will most likely start in their preferred 3-5-2 formation, with Kayne Ramsay and Thierry Small operating as wing-backs.

Alex Mitchell, Lloyd Jones and Macaulay Gillesphey remain as the back three, starting ahead of Will Mannion in between the sticks. It is also an unchanged midfield three as Luke Berry and Conor Coventry accompany captain Greg Docherty.

Up front, Godden enters the starting 11 alongside Gassan Ahadme.

Potts and Watson are joined on the bench by Ashley Maynard-Brewer, Rarmani Edmonds-Green, Allan Campbell and Chuks Aneke.
