Conor McGrandles and Charlie Kirk both start the Addicks' opening home game against Derby County as Manager Ben Garner makes two changes.
Summer signing McGrandles earns his full Charlton debut, while academy graduate Charles Clayden is named on the Addicks' substitutes bench alongside George Dobson and Diallang Jaiyesimi.
Joe Wollacott continues in goal, behind an unchanged back four of Sean Clare, Ryan Inniss, Eoghan O'Connell and Steven Sessegnon.
McGrandles is expected to join Albie Morgan and last weekend's goalscorer Scott Fraser in Garner's three-man midfield, with Corey Blackett-Taylor and Kirk flanking captain Jayden Stockley.
Clayden, Dobson and Jaiyesimi are joined on the bench by Craig MacGillivray, Sam Lavelle, Jack Payne and Miles Leaburn.
