Period of applause ahead of kick-off
Ahead of kick-off at The Valley, supporters, players and officials from both clubs will remember the Charlton and Reading fans that were lost in the year of 2024 with a period of applause.
Thank you to those who have submitted their loved ones, friends and colleagues’ names for the list ahead of the New Year's Day.
The club will also be paying tribute to the late Charlie Wright ahead of kick-off. A widely popular player during his time at The Valley, Wright, who recently passed away at the age of 86, signed for the club in 1966 from Grimsby Town and went on to play 209 times for the Addicks in all competitions.
Enjoy the matchday build-up in the Fan Zone
The free Fan Zone is open to all Addicks tomorrow from 12pm, providing supporters with the perfect location to soak up all the pre-game atmosphere at The Valley.
There are a variety of food and drink options available in the Fan Zone, ranging from the highly-rated Chicken George van to burgers and Meantime’s Mobile Bar!
