Three things to do at The Valley before Bolton game

Charlton Athletic fans play in the Fan Zone before the Sky Bet League 1 match between Charlton Athletic and Leyton Orient at The Valley, London

After last weekend’s stoppage-time victory over Leyton Orient, league football is back in SE7 for the second time this season, and with it comes everything that surrounds a matchday at The Valley.

Here are three things to do on Saturday in the build-up to the game.

Fan Zone

Charlton’s brand-new Fan Zone returns again this weekend, complete with all sorts of activities to enjoy before kick-off.

The Tussle pitch lies in the middle of it all, where you and your mates can test your footballing skills against each other or fellow supporters.

Last week’s 12:30pm kick-off may have meant an early lunch, but there is no excuse this time to not sample the Zone’s food and drink options. With everything from Chicken George to a burger van to the Meantime Bar, there’s something for everyone.

Younger supporters will find plenty of fun activities, with giant Connect Four, Jenga, limbo and much more on offer.

The area will open at midday and is entirely free!

Premier League on the big screen

There is a new addition to the Fan Zone this week - a big screen showing the early and late kick-offs in the Premier League.

That means that you can enjoy Brighton v Manchester United at 12.30pm, and Aston Villa v Arsenal at 5.30pm.

What better way to spend your Saturday than with three live games, back-to-back?

Third kit

This week saw the release of Charlton’s brand-new third kit, and it has gone down a treat with supporters.

Tomorrow is the perfect time to grab yours, and with the club shop opening at 10am there’s plenty of time afterwards to enjoy everything else The Valley has to offer.
