As league football finally returns to The Valley, supporters may notice a few changes when they arrive for tomorrow’s clash against Leyton Orient (KO 12.30pm BST).

Here are three things to do at The Valley in the build-up to the game.

Fan Zone

The Valley’s brand-new Fan Zone will open for the very first time on Saturday, and is full of things to do before kick-off.

At the centre of it all is the Tussle pitch, where you can test your footballing skills in small-scale games.

Younger supporters will find plenty of fun activities, with giant Connect Four, Jenga, limbo and much more on offer.

The area will open at 10.30am and is entirely free!

Food and drink vendors

The Fan Zone also has a range of food options for your pre-match meal. Chicken George, the fried chicken specialists loved by Nathan Jones himself, will have a stall.

They will be joined by a burger van, as well as the Meantime Bar for the older fans.

Bartram’s and Meantime Fans’ Bar

If you’re looking for your traditional pre-match ritual, then don’t worry – both Bartram’s and the Meantime Fans’ Bar will be open as usual for the Orient clash.

Each will open at 10:30am, and will be offering a range of alcoholic and soft drinks.
