Charlton's U15s have progressed to the semi-finals of the Al Jazira International Cup.
Having kicked off the tournament with a 2-2 draw against Le Havre AC, the young Addicks claimed a 3-0 triumph over Al Ain before losing 6-3 to Valencia CF as they secured their passage through to the final four.
The U15s will now take on Group A winners PSV Eindhoven on Friday for a place in the final, with Valencia taking on Partizan Belgrade in the other semi-final.
Chizaram Ezenwata and Reuben Reid both bagged three goals during the group stages, while Bradley Tagoe netted two.
Speaking after the victory over Al Ain, Youth Development Phase Coach David Chatwin said: "I'm so proud of the boys - 3-0 winners against Al Ain who were literally all 16/17. It was men against boys physically but we were excellent in application and effort.
"Two game-winning moments came from Bradley Tagoe and Reuben Reid, who both scored goals of the highest order. To a player we gave everything and more, I kicked every ball with them and we were worthy winners."
