Charlton’s U18s claimed a 4-2 victory over Colchester United at Sparrows Lane on Saturday.
The prolific Patrick Casey opened the scoring on 36 minutes, but the young Addicks’ lead proved to be short-lived as Bayan Aman equalised for the U’s just moments later.
T’aizo Marcel-Dilaver fired the visitors in front three minutes after the restart, though Henry Rylah and Ralfi Hand soon struck to restore the Addicks’ advantage.
There was still time for Casey to add his second and Charlton’s fourth eight minutes from time with a cool finish past Jayden Peglar.
The U18s are next in action on Saturday, January 7th, when they host Swansea City (KO 11am).
