Charlton's U21s bowed out of the London Senior Cup following a 2-0 defeat against Dulwich Hamlet at Champion Hill on Tuesday night.
A Luke Wanadio brace saw the Hamlet prevail on the night, halting the young Addicks’ hopes of retaining the trophy for the third year in a row.
The hosts' keeper Dillon Barnes was called into action inside 10 minutes, reacting quickest to deny Charlton on the counter.
Just moments later, Amaru Kaunda came close to opening the scoring, rattling his strike off the bar following a Danny Mills flick-on.
With the half-time interval rapidly approaching, Wanadio netted his first, cutting in and firing home in the 40th minute.
The home side had their second just three minutes after the restart as Mills was pushed in the back and awarded a penalty. Wanadio stood over the spot-kick and sent his strike into the bottom corner to provide a two-goal cushion for the Hamlet.
Our U21s return to action on Tuesday as they host Bristol City at Princes Park (KO 1pm GMT).
