Euan Williams’ late strike earned Charlton’s U21s a 1-0 victory against table toppers QPR on Monday afternoon.
Michael Hector got a valuable 90 minutes under his belt at Sparrows Lane as he returns from a hamstring injury, with fellow first-teamers Ashley Maynard-Brewer, Nathan Asiimwe, Terry Taylor, Lewis Fiorini and Tyreece Campbell also starting for the young Addicks.
Williams produced the match-winning moment on 81 minutes, pouncing on a loose ball inside the 18-yard box and firing beyond Harry Cant to seal all three points.
Chris Lock's U21s are next in action on Friday, March 22nd, taking on Colchester United at The Valley (KO 1pm GMT).
