Charlton's U21s shared a 1-1 draw with their Swansea City counterparts at Princes Park on Monday.
Dylan Gavin fired the young Addicks ahead in the Professional Development League 2 - South clash on 39 minutes.
Deji Elerewe picked out the Irishman with an exquisite diagonal ball and after controlling the ball superbly with his chest, Gavin volleyed past Ben Hughes from close range.
Charlton's advantage proved to be short-lived, however, as Tarrelle Whittaker soon drew the Swans level just three minutes after the restart.
Having been fouled on the edge of the 18-yard box, the forward picked himself up and curled a fine free-kick into the top corner.
Both teams continued to enjoy chances thereafter in what was an end-to-end encounter throughout, though neither side could find that all-important winner as the spoils were shared in Dartford.
The young Addicks are next in action on Tuesday, January 16th, when they travel to Queens Park Rangers.
Charlton: Kone; O'Connor, Elerewe, Asiimwe, Oguntayo; Kedwell, Anderson (c), Adigun; Kamara, Gavin, Reilly
