Charlton's U21s came from behind to claim a 3-1 victory over Birmingham City at Sparrows Lane on Tuesday afternoon.
Henry Rylah, Ibrahim Fullah, who signed a new long-term contract with the club earlier in the day, and Harvey Kedwell were all on target for Chris Lock's side.
After Kaheim Dixon was denied on two separate occasions by Will O'Sullivan and Laiith Fairnie, the visitors took the lead on 17 minutes as Kurtis Havenhand squared for Briar Bateman to convert.
Blues were reduced to 10 men in first half stoppage-time when Menzi Mazwi handled Ryan Huke's goalbound strike on the line. Captain Kedwell stepped up from 12 yards, but sent his spot-kick over O'Sullivan's crossbar.
The young Addicks' leveller came on 72 minutes through Henry Rylah, whose cross deflected off a blue shirt and looped over O'Sullivan.
Fullah fired Charlton ahead just 11 minutes later, firing into the bottom-left corner after pouncing on a loose ball inside the box.
With minutes remaining, Lock's side were given a golden opportunity to add a third as Kai Enslin was brought down by Blues skipper Byron Pendleton inside the penalty area. Kedwell stepped up once again, this time converting coolly with a low strike.
The U21s are next in action on Tuesday, April 29th with a trip to Peterborough United (KO 1.30pm BST).
