A dominant Charlton U21s crushed Ipswich Town at Playford Road on Tuesday.
January signing Thierry Small was wearing Charlton red for the first time in a competitive game and started well, racing down the left and crossing for Henry Rylah to give the young Addicks a 16th minute lead.
Patrick Casey continued his fine form with a a brace, the first set up by Lewis Fiorini and the second by Ryan Huke.
Huke went from provider to goalscorer, firing home Charlton's fourth after Fiorini's shot had been kept out by the Ipswich goalkeeper.
Tolu Ladapo scored the Addicks' fifth in first-half stoppage time after getting on the end of a Casey flick.
Euan Williams replaced Huke at half-time and immediately impacted the game by scoring in the 55th and 64th minute.
It was a header from Fiorini that finished Charlton's scoring, as he got on the end of an expert cross from Nathan Asiimwe.
Daniel O'Connor scored a consolation goal for Ipswich with 19 minutes remaining, as the Addicks secured a comfortable win.
