U21 REPORT | QPR 2 Charlton 2

'

Charlton's U21s were forced to settle for a point in a 2-2 draw with QPR on Friday afternoon.

Henry Rylah and Ibrahim Fullah both netted on the day, with an action-packed second half seeing the spoils shared in west London.

The young Addicks' first came on 58 minutes when Rylah’s initial strike cannoned off the bar and bounced back into the forward’s path, allowing for a simple finish to establish the lead.

Just moments later, Charlton had their second through Fullah. The 18-year-old danced his way down the byline and slotted in from a tight angle to provide a two-goal cushion with 30 minutes left on the clock.

The hosts responded well to the setback, pulling one back just seven minutes later. Lennon MacLorg saved the initial strike from six yards, but the ball rebounded into the path of Kieran Petrie who fired in for the R’s.

With seven minutes left on the clock, the home side drew level as Rohan Vaughan slid home late-on, rescuing a point for QPR.

The U21s are back on home soil on Tuesday afternoon, hosting Birmingham City at Sparrows Lane (KO 2pm BST).
