U21 REPORT | QPR 4 Charlton 0

'

Charlton's U21s fell to a 4-0 defeat against QPR at the TSG Training Centre on Friday afternoon.

Rafferty Pedder was the hat-trick hero for the hosts, who returned to the Professional Development League Two play-off places.

The R’s broke the deadlock inside four minutes as Harry Murphy’s dipping strike sailed into the back of the net.

Pedder doubled his team's tally on 34 minutes, coolly converting his spot-kick past Henry Molyneux after Kieran Morgan was fouled.

With 20 minutes remaining, Pedder added his second and QPR’s third after combining well with substitute Jaiden Putman.

Pedder soon sealed his hat-trick, dusting himself off to score from the spot again on 77 minutes.

Chris Lock's young Addicks are next in action on Monday when they host Sheffield United at The Valley.

Charlton: Molyneux; Ness, Gough (c), Toure; Okwumo, Santos, L.Watson, Dench; Fiorini, Huke; Enslin

Subs: Adegoke, Fullah, Berry
