Jack O'Sullivan reports
The club’s popular Family Activity Zone is back in action ahead of our FA Cup second-round match against MK Dons on Saturday – and we’re excited to see lots of young Addicks coming along and taking part in the action!
Located in Valley Central and the West Stand car park, the Family Activity Zone is a joint initiative between the club and Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) – and offers a great range of fun, free games and activities to get youngsters in the mood before the big game in SE7.
Parents are welcome to leave their children in the capable hands of our excellent CACT coaches whilst they relax in our free entry fans' bar, Crossbars, or they are welcome to stay around and join in the fun.
Inside Valley Central, you’ll find table tennis, pool, a foosball table and games consoles to play on, whilst the West Stand car park is the place to be for your inflatables and multi-sports. There will also be a face painter, and an opportunity for our young Addicks to have their photo taken with Sir Valiant and Robyn, our two club mascots.
Free fruit will also be made available to children inside Valley Central, thanks to a generous donation from Tesco Extra, Woolwich – and there are also free bottles of no added sugar milkshakes available from Yazoo.
To book your child’s place in the Family Activity Zone, please e-mail their name and age through to familyactivityzone@cafc.co.uk
