George Jones reports
The club will again be offering free travel to an upcoming away game, with a convoy of five coaches set to head to Northampton Town on Saturday, March 4th, as confirmed on www.cafc.co.uk last night.
It will be the third time this season that free travel has been laid on – having been in operation for our fixtures at Bolton Wanderers and soon-to-be-played match at Rochdale – and on this occasion supporters can also enjoy a free breakfast from The Valley.
Two of the coaches will pick fans up from Valley Away’s usual stops, with the other three departing solely from SE7.
All five coaches will meet up at The Valley for fans to enjoy a bacon roll and some juice before, at around 11am, setting off on the 89-mile journey north to Sixfields Stadium.
Match tickets and places on the coaches will go on restricted sale at 9am on Thursday, February 9th and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, providing you are eligible to purchase. Match ticket sale restrictions will be the same.
In terms of match tickets, we have requested the maximum allocation of 1,430. 899 of these are in the south stand – behind the goal – with 513 in the family stand, while we also have access to nine wheelchair bays, which include a free helper.
Tickets are priced at £22 adults, £18 over 65s and under 21s, £10 under 18s and under 7s are free. Ambulant disabled tickets and wheelchair bays are priced at the relevant age categories.
From Thursday, February 9th, season ticket holders who are also Valley Gold members can book up to two match tickets and two places on the free Valley Away.
Eligibility extends to season ticket holders and Valley Gold members on Monday, February 13th and, from Thursday, February 16th, fans on the club’s database that have at least four 2016/17 away matches registered to their accounts can also buy.
They will go on general sale on Monday, February 20th and tickets for both the match and Valley Away can be booked by visiting the Valley Superstore in person or by calling 03330 14 44 44.
