TEAM NEWS | Slight change in shape for Rochdale clash

George Jones reports from Spotland

Karl Robinson has adjusted Charlton’s system for today’s match against Rochdale at Spotland (3pm).

Tony Watt comes back into the side to provide support to Josh Magennis up front in one of three changes in personnel made by the Manager.

The team news in full sees Declan Rudd start in goal. He’ll be protected by a back four of Chris Solly, Patrick Bauer, Ezri Konsa and Lewis Page, who is back in the side following suspension and injury.

Andrew Crofts and Jake Forster-Caskey again occupy midfield berths, while Jordan Botaka and Ricky Holmes – the latter earning a recall – are out wide.

Up front, Watt has more of a free role and will provide the link between midfield and central striker Magennis.
