George Jones reports from The Valley
Stephy Mavididi will start for Charlton against Oxford United this evening as Karl Robinson makes three changes to his line-up.
The Arsenal loanee impressed from the bench at Rochdale on Saturday and almost scored one of the goals of the season when he ran the length of the pitch, beating five men, only to be denied by Rochdale’s goalkeeper.
He has been rewarded for his strong cameo with his maiden Valley start while, elsewhere, Jorge Teixeira and Nathan Byrne also come into the side.
The team news in full sees first-choice goalkeeper Declan Rudd start between the posts. In front of him is a back four that consists on captain Chris Solly, Patrick Bauer, Teixeira – who netted two goals at the weekend – and Lewis Page.
Andrew Crofts and Jake Forster-Caskey again occupy the engine room, with an attacking trio of Byrne - back again following suspension – Ricky Holmes and Mavididi playing in advance of them.
Up front, Josh Magennis again leads the line.

Subs: Phillips, Dasilva, Jackson, Aribo, Botaka, Watt, Novak.
