Coming to Saturday’s game at The Valley and looking for something to keep your young Charlton supporter busy before the match? Our FREE Family Activity Zone is the perfect place to keep them entertained!
Taking place between 1.15pm and 2.30pm in the West Stand car park and Valley Central, the Family Activity Zone offers a great range of fun, free games and activities to get youngsters in the mood before matches in SE7. And, remember, it’s Football for a Fiver at The Valley this weekend, so the whole family can have an affordable day out!
Our mascots Sir Valiant and Robyn have enjoyed seeing so many young Charlton supporters at the Family Activity Zone this season, and we’d love to see everyone back this Saturday to take part in the fun.
Inside Valley Central, we have activities including table tennis, pool, table football, a face painter, games consoles and drawing – whilst in the West Stand car park you’ll find an inflatable football target, music, archery and badminton.
We asked attendees recently for their thoughts on the Family Activity Zone, and got some great feedback – we are now looking at ideas to further improve this for, not only our younger fans, but also their parents.
Sir Valiant and Robyn will be around to join in with the fun and to pose for photographs, and we’ll once again be offering free fruit and free bottles of no added sugar milkshakes – as well as a copy of our Young Reds Review matchday programme!
Parents are welcome to leave their children in the capable hands of our excellent Charlton Athletic Community Trust coaches whilst they relax in our free entry fans’ bar, Crossbars, or they are welcome to stay and play with their children.
Our Family Activity Zone will also be in place on Saturday, March 11th before we take on Walsall at The Valley, which coincides with our Red, White & Black Day – dedicated to raising awareness of inequality and discrimination.
