Tom Rubashow reports
1,400 Charlton Athletic fans will travel to support the team at Northampton Town today, with over 250 travelling in five free coaches put on by the club.
The game will be Charlton’s first competitive game at Sixfields Stadium and due to high demand, the club requested and received additional tickets.
In recognition of their outstanding support, Addicks fans travelling to Sixfields by club coaches are travelling for free and were offered a complimentary breakfast at The Valley before departure.
The game marks the third time this season the club have put on free coaches for travelling supporters following January’s 2-1 win away at Bolton Wanderers and a 3-3 draw away to Rochdale last month.
Supporters who cannot be at Sixfields on Saturday can follow all the action via all of the club's official social media channels, while exclusive commentary of the game will be available on CAFC PlayerHD.
