Player of the Year to be revealed in pre-game ceremony

Charlton's 2016/17 Player of the Year, as voted by supporters, will be announced prior to kick-off against Swindon Town this afternoon.

Fans are encouraged to take their seats early to see the winner crowned, while awards for Supporter of the Year, Young Player of the Year, Charlton Athletic Disabled Supporters Association Player of the Year and Community Trust Player of the Year will also be handed out.

Our U23s will be presented to the crowd at The Valley, after they were crowned Professional Development League 2 Souh champions for a second successive season on Monday, having beaten Millwall in SE7.

The Charlton Athletic Women’s team will then parade the Capital Cup, which they retained this week by beating Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in the final.

The ceremony begins from 11.30am today with the Supporters’ Player of the Year presented at around 11.45am.
