The Charlton Athletic Women head down towards the south coast this weekend as they face Portsmouth FC Ladies.
The match takes place at 2pm on Sunday at West Leigh Park, home of Havant and Waterlooville and will provide a tough test for the Addicks with both sides hosting 100% win records so far this season.
Captain Kim Dixson is looking forward to the clash but insists last season’s 5-0 victory over Portsmouth is not something to expect again in this Sunday’s clash.
She said “I think it will be completely different to how the game was last season.
“It’s pleasing that we have the winning mentality and that’s what we want, so we will go into this game full of confidence but so will Portsmouth so we just have to focus on keep winning.”
The Charlton women go fresh into this game with a high scoring record after beating Swindon Town 11-0 last weekend in the FA Women’s Premier League Cup. Highlights of this game are available to watch here on Valley Pass.
Portsmouth scored less goals in their cup fixture but comfortable beat Queen’s Park Rangers 3-0 to maintain their 100% record this season.
