Charlton goalkeeper Ben Amos has been recognised for his fantastic performances in the month of October by being nominated for two Player of the Month awards.
The EFL announced early on Wednesday morning that he had been shortlisted for Sky Bet League One’s monthly accolade and now the stopper has also been put forward for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award.

Ricky Holmes scooped the PFA award for the month of September, thanks to the voting of Charlton fans, and Amos could now become the second Addick this season to win it.
Amos was in superb form during October. In his four league matches, he kept three clean sheets and only conceded one goal in over 360 minutes of football.
That saw the Addicks record 10 points from a possible 12 to propel them up to fourth in the Sky Bet League One table and, as a result, Karl Robinson has also been nominated for the Manager of the Month award.
