The Addicks’ first-team netted four goals in the month of October, one in each of their matches, meaning that they are all up for the award.
Tariqe Fosu kicked off the month by netting the winner against Doncaster Rovers at The Valley and the wide-man then found the net again three days later by bagging in the 1-1 draw at Oxford United.
Jake Forster-Caskey scored Charlton’s crucial goal at Bradford City, as they recorded a brilliant 1-0 win at the Northern Commercials Stadium, and the month was concluded by Ricky Holmes’ spectacular free-kick against AFC Wimbledon at The Valley, which also proved to be a winner.
