Charlton’s U18s will host Reading in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup on Tuesday, January 16th.
The tie will be contested at Welling United’s Park View Road and will kick-off at 7pm.
Sergei Baltacha and Hamza Serrar’s Addicks have already won three matches in this season’s competition, with their campaign beginning with a 4-1 win against Whitehawk.
Alfie Doughty netted a double, with Albie Morgan and Kareem Isiaka also finding the net in that match and less than a week later the former was on target again as Charlton beat Exeter City 2-1 at St James Park.
Striker Alex Willis also bagged in Devon, as the Addicks raced into a two-goal lead inside nine minutes to book their place in round three.
Loftus Road was the venue for the third-round tie and a superb performance saw Charlton earn a 3-1 victory against Queens Park Rangers.
Luke Carey and a Morgan penalty had the visitors ahead in stoppage time and they would assure themselves of a spot in round four in some style through Doughty, who thumped home from inside his own half to score his side’s decisive third.
Reading, meanwhile, entered the competition at the third-round stage and beat Millwall 2-1 at Madejski Stadium to set up this month’s tie.
Ticket details for the match will be confirmed in due course.
