Charlton supporters are invited to join Northampton Town’s tribute to their former player Walter Tull at Sixfields Stadium on Good Friday.
Tull, who was only the third person of mixed heritage to play in the top division of the EFL, played more than 100 matches for the Cobblers before his death in 1918.
Tull was killed in action during the First World War and this week marked 100 years since his death.
Northampton will be dedicating a number of events to Tull on Friday, which includes a short service at the Walter Tull memorial at around 2pm that supporters of both clubs are invited to attend. The service includes will be conducted by Northampton’s club chaplain Haydon Spenceley.
