Lewis Page’s long-range strike against Plymouth Argyle has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Goal of the Month award for March.
The full-back, who was starting at The Valley for the first time in over a year, found himself on the edge of the Pilgrims’ box when the ball fell perfectly into his path from an attempted clearance.
He still had it all to do, though, and under pressure he rifled the ball into the top corner for the opener. Michal Zyro soon added a second goal and the Addicks would go on to record a priceless win over their promotion rivals.
It was some strike from Page and was also the first senior goal he had scored in his career.
