Charlton fans are being encouraged to don their Addicks colours on Friday, April 27th as part of the now annual ‘Football Shirt Friday’.
The campaign, now in its sixth year, helps to raise funds and awareness for the Bobby Moore Fund, which in turn will help fund life-saving research into bowel cancer.
The club would encourage any fans whose work or school are participating in the yearly event to tag @CAFCofficial on Twitter in any photos of themselves and their colleagues. We’d also ask fans to make sure they use to hashtags #cafc and #FootballShirtFriday.
2018 marks 25 years since the passing of England’s World Cup-winning captain Bobby Moore and supporters can find out more about Football Shirt Friday by clicking here.
As part of Football Shirt Friday, fans are asked to donate £5 to the Bobby Moore Fund. Supporters can text SHIRT to 70200 to donate £5.
