Charlton’s U18s could be crowned as Professional Development League 2 national champions on Friday night when they host Crystal Palace at The Valley (7pm).
The young Addicks finished second in PDL2 South and, on Saturday, they beat Leeds United 1-0 in their national play-off semi-final.
That victory set up Friday’s national final and fans are being encouraged to come down to SE7 and offer their support.
Seven academy graduates have made senior debuts for Charlton’s first-team this season, whilst the Addicks’ U23s also qualified for the end-of-season play-offs by finishing as runners-up in their league.
Charlton’s U18s were crowned as national champions in 2014/15 and 2015/16 and they have secured top-two league finishes in each of the last six seasons.
Season ticket holders and Valley Gold members are welcome to attend Friday’s match for FREE, while admission is otherwise priced at £3 adults, £2 concessions and £1 juniors. All tickets will be available from The Valley on the night of the match. Season ticket holders and Valley Gold members will need to produce their cards at the turnstiles to obtain their free admission.
