Valley Gold will be hosting a feast of football this weekend, with their international tournament taking place on Saturday and Sunday.
It is the first tournament Valley Gold have organised and sponsored on behalf of the academy and, as well as Charlton, it will feature teams from five other clubs, including one from Europe.
The teams taking part from the UK are Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Ipswich Town and Southend United. The International team is from Holland, namely PSV Eindhoven. All teams will enter sides with players born in 2003.
The Saturday games will be held at Sparrows Lane and each team will play five games on a round-robin basis, kicking off at 11am.
The finals will be played at The Valley on the Sunday, again kicking off at 11am. On Sunday, car parking will be available if booked in advance.
All Valley Gold members and Charlton season ticket holders are welcome to attend the weekend’s event. If possible, supporters should book their places in advance by visiting www.valleygold.org.uk or by calling 0208 244 7771.
Supporters can also turn up on the day but must have either their Valley Gold card or season ticket card with them in order to gain admission.
