Academy graduate Regan Charles-Cook has joined Gillingham after turning down an offer of a new one-year contract at Charlton.
The 21-year-old midfielder made his senior Addicks debut in a League Cup clash with Dagenham & Redbridge in 2015 and went on to make a total of nine first-team appearances with his only goal coming in a 2-1 cup victory at Exeter City last August.
An integral part of Charlton’s successful U18 and U23 sides in recent years, he also spent time on loan with Solihull Moors and Woking and was offered the chance to remain at The Valley for 12 further months following the expiration of his current contract, but has opted to make the move to the Priestfield Stadium in search of first-team opportunities.
The club would like to thank Regan for his efforts while with the club and wish him all the very best in his future career.
