The big kick-off at this summer’s FIFA World Cup is just days away and supporters can keep up to date with every match of the tournament by downloading our bespoke, Charlton wall chart.
The chart, which can be downloaded for free by clicking here, details the date, UK kick-off time and location of all games and would fit perfectly in a house, school classroom or office.
Supporters can fill in the scores as each match is played and, as well as that, the chart provides details of the four ex-Addicks who have previously represented their countries at the summer showpiece.
Club legend John Hewie was the first Addick to star at a World Cup. He played twice for Scotland at Sweden 1958 – against Yugoslavia and France – and there was then a 44-year wait for the next Charlton players to turn out on the world stage.
Mark Kinsella and Claus Jensen both appeared at Korea & Japan in 2002. Jensen made a solitary substitute appearance for Denmark against England but Kinsella turned out four times for the Republic of Ireland. They reached the last-16 stage before losing on penalties to Spain.
Last time out, in Brazil, Iranian striker Reza Ghoochannejhad was Charlton’s representative. Although Iran exited at the group stages, the forward would write his name into the history books when he became the first Addick to score at a World Cup. He bagged in Team Melli’s 3-1 defeat to Bosnia & Herzegovina.
