Tickets for Charlton’s friendlies at The Valley and opening home game of the season are now on sale, via the club’s new ticketing system.
Following feedback from fans, through the Fans’ Forum, via email and direct calls to the ticket office, the decision was taken to improve the club’s ticketing software this summer.
The new software has allowed for the creation of a loyalty points, ticket priority scheme to reward fans travelling to away matches. The new software will also make purchasing home and away tickets a lot easier than last season.
New multi-match packages – which will be introduced from pre-season - will enable supporters to make savings on match ticket prices, while individual match tickets have seen a price increase.
As part of the new system, there will be a £1.50 transaction fee for online bookings (applicable per transaction rather than per ticket). There will be no transaction fee for purchases made in person, while UK postage is now free for online bookings, which was priced at £1 last season. The booking fee for purchases made by phone remains at £2.50 per transaction.
A multi-match package will be available, online only, for the Addicks’ friendlies against Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion and Championship club Norwich City.
If supporters purchase tickets for both fixtures at the same time they will get the second fixture for half price, so an adult would pay £15 (plus £1.50 transaction fee) for both fixtures.
League games will again be classified as either Gold or Silver in 2018/19 and full details on matchday ticket prices can be found below.
