Charlton U23s’ pre-season friendly against AFC Bournemouth at Sparrows Lane will now be contested behind closed doors.
Jason Euell’s side have recorded victories against Carshalton Athletic and Eastbourne Borough in their two pre-season matches so far this summer, while they also played the final 30 minutes of the Addicks’ 120-minute game against Cambridge United on Tuesday.
After hosting Bournemouth, the young Addicks will face Brighton & Hove Albion and Reading before their Professional Development League 2 South campaign kicks off on the week commencing Monday, August 13th.
Due to Saturday’s friendly against Bournemouth switching to behind closed doors, spectators are no longer permitted to attend the game.
Meanwhile, Charlton’s first team are in action against Crawley Town on Saturday afternoon (3pm).
Hosted at East Grinstead Town’s East Court Stadium, tickets are priced at £10 adults, £5 concessions and £1 U18s and will be available to purchase, using cash only, at the turnstiles.
The club have been informed that there is no spectator parking at the stadium and supporters are advised to park in the council car park in De La Warr Road, which is a 10 to 15-minute walk from the ground.
