Lyle Taylor will miss today’s game against Norwich City with a calf injury.
The striker, who signed for the club in June, felt a tightness in his calf earlier this week.
As it stands he will receive further treatment during the week ahead of the club’s trip to Sunderland for the opening game of the Sky Bet League One season next Saturday.
In Taylor’s absence Karlan Grant and Reeco Hackett-Fairchild will start up front together today. Elsewhere Joe Aribo returns to the lineup to partner Jake Forster-Caskey in midfield. George Lapslie and Mark Marshall are set to play either side of the pair in front of a back four of Chris Solly, Patrick Bauer, Jason Pearce and Lewis Page. Dillon Phillips once again starts in goal.
There is a place on the subs bench for Darren Prately and Tuesday night’s goalscorer Naby Sarr.
Full commentary of the game is available on Valley Pass. A Valley Pass subscription costs just £6.50 a month or £60 for the 2018/19 season.
