Josh Magennis has joined Championship side Bolton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.
The striker joined Charlton from Scottish side Kilmarnock in 2016 and went on to net 10 times in 41 appearances during his first season at The Valley.
The Northern Ireland international represented his country 15 times whilst a Charlton player and netted 10 goals once again last term, bringing his total contribution to 20 goals in 88 appearances for the Addicks.
Speaking following Saturday’s friendly victory over Norwich City, Caretaker Manager Lee Bowyer said: “We knew that Bolton were interested in Josh in January, so I thought they would come back in.
“He is a good player. He’s a good pro and he gives everything so I wish him all the best and thank him for the services he’s given us.”
